A few more pictures

As I am (very) slowly getting ready to go again, I downloaded pictures taken with my small back-up camera when my phone was not cooperating.

So here are a few that I thought were worth sharing, mostly from the first days on the Dalton.

You can click on the pictures to see a larger version.

More stories later, I have to go pick up Laf who just got his first tune-up done (ever).  It was about time 😉

First mile on the Dalton
Franklin’s Bluff and Sag River
First day: each mile, exactly the same
My first camp: big bags of calcium to find shelter from the wind and old pieces of plywood were all I needed to feel happy and comfy!
Small group of caribou
Caribou in the morning fog
First muskox
Second night: an old RV that felt like a fancy hotel!
Pump station on the Dalton
Beautiful road with new pavement (it didn’t last)!
Nothing to do in the afternoon? Count the mosquitos (luckily outside of the tent)…
Back in the Yukon
